FORGET ME NOT - New collection
Posted on 7 NOVEMBER  2024

Hi everyone! This year has flown by, because today we’re sharing our final collection for 2024! Can you believe it?

This new collection is called Forget Me Not and was designed by our graphic designer Josie Druetta.

The concept for this collection all started with, well, forget me nots – those sweet little blue flowers with the yellow centre. They seemed so appropriate for a scrapbooking collection. After all, isn’t scrapbooking about recording special moments so you don’t forget them?

While “never forgetting” is key to scrapbooking, we felt the same applied to keeping in touch with friends and family. So taking the time to make and send a handmade card or happy mail is a great way to tell a friend that you may not be close by, but they still mean so much to you..

So with 2 key themes of memory keeping, and keeping in touch, you’ll find a lot of sentiments and imagery throughout this collection have to do with capturing memories and sending mail. Of course, we’ve also included our normal array of gorgeous blooms, and quirky motifs.

As Josie discovered, it turns out that forget me nots come in a variety of pinks, lilacs, lavenders and blue, which is where many of the colours you’ll find in this collection are derived from. You’ll often see these sweet little flowers growing in the shade, so she brought in the dark green and navy, plus the mustard yellow which really contrasted and complemented the pinks and purples so beautifully. They also make this collection great for men and women, as well as all sorts of occasions, through winter, spring, summer and autumn.

We hope you have enjoyed another year crafting with Rosie’s Studio collections. Our team is truly thrilled with your kind comments and seeing our products end up in all corners of the world, and can’t wait to see the scrapbook layouts, handmade cards, SVGs and more, that you create with this latest release.

Forget Me Not : The Papers

The Forget Me Not papers are versatile and eclectic, and of course, so pretty! There’s 20 designs in total, and 3 are gold foiled.

Forget me not flowers are present in several of the papers. But you’ll also find cameras, a film strip pattern, pigeons delivering mail, and a number of simpler designs to coordinate in many different ways.  What’s so wonderful are the versatile and unisex colours of these papers. So depending on how you combine them, you can craft something that suits everyone or for any season.

Forget Me Not : Beautiful Butterflies

Normally we would show you our diecuts first, but we are just too excited to share these stunning Butterfly Embellishments with you. Made from 2 layers of acetate and featuring gold foil details, we hope you love them as much as we do.

Forget Me Not : The Diecuts

It’s so exciting when you first open a pack of diecuts and sort through them. The Forget Me Not diecut packs are filled with creative treats, and as always, we give you 2 pieces of every shape so don’t have to worry about using up your favourite ones!

One ne of our favourite Diecut Ephemera pieces is the mailbox filled with an envelope of flowers. This was destined to be on the front of a card or a piece of happy mail. Another fave piece is the big cuddly bear who looks just like a walking hug! Of course there are many other designs which keep with the memory-keeping theme – a floral cassette tape (remember mix tapes!), camera, story books and a photoboard.

Our second set of diecuts contains an amazing mix of pieces that you can use as titles and sentiments, for layering, and for journaling. Some of the simplest and most striking pieces are the gold foil titles “hello”, “celebrate”, and “forever”.  We always designs our diecuts with both larger and smaller projects in mind and we do our best to incorporate a variety of sentiments and sizes to accommodate everyone.

Forget Me Not : Sticker Love

From titles and headings to highlighting details, having a variety of stickers in a variety of materials adds that unique quality to your cardmaking,  scrapbooking  or journaling project.

A perfectly placed phrase or expression can really make a layout talk, and helps to tell the story through emotion. That’s why you will find a broad variety of phrases in sticker packs, from longer sentiments to short and sweet.

A new item in this collection is a 2-sheet pack of foiled clear stickers which include a variety of phrases, as well as motifs that follow the theme of the collection. Transparent stickers look amazing in journals, but will have a home on all kinds of scrapbooking and cardmaking crafts too. This pack has some beautiful gold foiled sayings, either for the front or inside of a handmade greeting card.

Forget Me Not : The Cardstock

If you haven’t tried our cardstock, now is the time to get yourself a pack! Our textured cardstock makes the perfect base for crafting all your scrapbooking pages and handmade cards. At 216gsm, it is the perfect weight for cardmaking and diecutting. It cuts and folds so beautifully and has a gorgeous canvas texture, as well as solid-core colour. So when you tear it, the colour goes all the way through.

Each of our collections includes a coordinating set of 6 cardstock colours, and you get 2 sheets of each colour.
