You will need:
• scissors
• double-sided tape or glue
• a colour printer
• A4 paper or card
• ribbon or string
You’ll love these mini DIY Christmas crackers, made with elements from Rosie’s Studio’s Rudolph and Friends collection. Download the page and use them as wrapping for sweets, or gifts of money, or a fun addition to your Christmas table.
Instructions:
Print the page onto card or paper. You might like to glue the printout onto cardstock before you cutting out the cracker and shapes to make it more sturdy.
Cut out the tag shapes and punch a hole in the square end.
Cut out the mini cracker along the solid white lines. Use an embossing tool (an old ball point pen will work just as well) and ruler and score along the dashed score lines.
Use a craft knife or scissors to cut out the diamond shapes. A quicker way to do this is to fold along the score line and make 2 snips with a pair of scissors. Fold along all the score lines.
Overlap one of the sides and glue your cracker together. If you want to add a cracker snap now is the time.
Bring one end together and tie with ribbon or string before filling with your gift. Tie the other end and add one of the tags.
Cut out one of the Christmas characters and stick to the middle of one side of the cracker.
Make as many crackers as you need by printing more mixing and matching the characters and tags.
