A TREASURED KEEPSAKE
27 NOVEMBER, 2024
Hello!
It’s Marina, one of the Rosie’s Studio Brand Ambassadors.
Today I want to show you the mini album I made with her latest collection “Forget me not”.
To create the feeling of depth on the cover, I have covered several layers of chipboard with these floral papers and textured cardstock from the collection. To give it a “diorama” or “tunnel” effect I have used an assortment of die cuts, placing them in their different layers.
To contrast with the cover, I covered the spine and back cover with navy blue textured cardstock, which is also part of this beautiful collection.
And despite being a very sweet collection, it has contrasts with vibrant tones such as navy blue, dark green or mustard. And I love that!
For the inside of the album I covered envelopes with papers from the 6×6” paper pad. These will be perfect places to store photos and other little treasures.
I created the spine with remains of the textured cardboard, and left it visible, so that it contrasted with the decorated envelopes.
I even decorated the inside of the envelopes, so that when you open them they look so beautiful. I have enjoyed decorating this album so much! The patterns of these papers work beautifully together, and there were so many ways to combine the patterns and colours.
I used a mixture of diecut shapes and diecut sentiments to embellish each of my envelope pages, like this banner, that says “such a special day”.
I am in love with these colour combinations, especially the pink and the navy!
I hope you liked this album a lot and it gives you a little inspiration for your scrapbooking creations.
