12 x 12 layout
by Lissa Rees
You can create this floral scrapbook layout using 2 sheets of 12×12” paper. Use one sheet as your base, then cut and layer a smaller square of paper on top. Lissa used a tag and circular shapes from the Unconditional Diecut Ephemera to highlight the bottom left corner of her photo. Then she added beautiful flowers and leaves from the Unconditional Floral Diecuts to complete the frame. As a final touch, Lissa added a title using the Glitter Foam Sentiments which add dimension, and finally a gemstone accent.
card & tag

Card – To make this card, start by layering 3 sheets of 6×6” paper. Notice how the embellishments and top ‘XO’ paper have similar colours, but the blue paper adds some contrast, and helps the embellishments to stand out. When using interesting papers, you don’t need to go crazy with embellishments – using pieces from the Diecut Ephemera, Lissa created a simple focal point in one corner. But she has built this up and added a Wood Veneer butterfly to help your eye move diagonally up to the opposite corner.
Tag – journal cards are so versatile. Here, Lissa created a tag by punching a hole in the top of a 3*4” journal card and adding some ribbon. You then have the perfect base to layer pieces from the your Diecut Ephemera.
